Lighthouse Continuity Partners, LLC Announces End to Free Initial Assessment Service
Lighthouse Continuity Partners, LLC today announces their free initial assessment service will end soon. Effective April 15, 2010, a service charge will apply to the initial assessment service. In addition, Lighthouse Continuity Partners, LLC will begin providing an initial assessment specifically targeted for the healthcare community for those organizations interested in determining their status in meeting the HIPAA Security Rule Contingency Plan standard.
Chris Servia, CBCP, Managing Member of Lighthouse Continuity Partners, LLC stated, “The response to our free initial assessment service was outstanding. We are delighted to be able to continue to offer our assessments to general businesses as a fee based service. And we are thrilled to have been able to design another assessment service specifically for health care providers. The nation's health care system is the focus of much change at this time. We are pleased to be able to offer customers in this industry a targeted assessment to help these organizations meet the requirements of HIPAA. We'll soon be offering additional services targeted to ensure full compliance with the HIPAA Security Rule Contingency Plan standard.”
Charges associated with these services will be announced just ahead of the free assessment ending date. The upcoming announcement will include information on charges associated with both the Initial Assessment service and the HIPAA Security Rule Contingency Plan Standard Assessment service. These services will still be provided by a certified business continuity professional with experience in disaster planning services.
